Hey there,

The United States government has announced partial travel restrictions on Nigerian nationals, saying that from January 1, 2026 several visa categories, including business (B-1), tourism (B-2), student (F), vocational (M) and exchange (J) visas, will be suspended or more tightly scrutinised due to security concerns and high overstay rates, although exemptions will apply for lawful permanent residents and currently valid visas.
