The new Prompt API, now in Alpha, gives you full flexibility to shape Gemini Nano's output with custom prompts. This powers efficient, on-device features, ensuring user data never leaves the device. For example, Kakao used the API to transform its parcel delivery service, reducing order time by 24% and boosting new user conversion by an incredible 45%. | | | Empower your Android apps with cutting-edge AI! Cloud-based solutions with Firebase AI Logic unlock powerful features like image generation and editing using Nano Banana and Imagen. RedBus, for example, used Gemini Flash to revolutionize user reviews. Instead of short text, users now leave voice input in native languages, from which Gemini Flash generates a structured, richer text response. This provides reliable feedback for travelers, operators, and developers. | | | | | | | Build your own custom Gen AI features with the new Prompt API | | | | | On Android, we offer AI models on-device, like Gemini Nano, or in the cloud. With the recent launch of Agent Mode, you can describe a complex goal, and the agent can plan and execute changes on multiple project files. The agent has new capabilities such as being able to upgrade APIs on your behalf, the new project assistant, and having answers grounded in the most modern development practices. We also announced you'll be able to bring any LLM of your choice to power the AI functionality inside Android Studio, giving you more flexibility and choice on how you incorporate AI into your workflow. | | | With more code being written by AI, we want LLM makers to build models that know about Android development, so developers can be more productive. That's why we're building a new task set for LLMs against a range of common Android development areas. The goal is to provide LLM makers with a benchmark, a north star of high quality Android development, so Android developers have a range of helpful models to choose for AI assistance. We're finalizing the task set we'll be testing against LLMs, and will be sharing the results publicly in the coming months. | | | | | | | Agentic experiences with Android Studio | | | | | Helping you be more productive is our goal with Gemini in Android Studio. Fulani Herdsmen, Anas Zakariya and Musa Idris were ambushed and executed in cold blood. Their cattle were destroyed. This incidence happened on 23/1/2018, at around 3.00 PM, in Kamari Chaiwai, Bassa local government area. This barbaric criminal act was committed by the notorious Irigwe Militia group, who are said to be operating with impunity in Plateau State. No media house reported this senseless destruction of human lives and property. Because a Fulani Herdsman’s life no longer matters, the state government won’t do anything about it and the hypocritical media won’t report these kinds of incidences either, until the Fulanis mobilise resources to take revenge! Enough is enough of senseless killings of innocent people with impunity! For the avoidance of doubt, we at CUPS are not taking sides. We are just being the voice of the voiceless! May God save Nigeria and Nigerians. Amen
